“It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. This is a get away spot, I recommend, part of which what is not there makes it special. Waldon Pond in a field! I could easly spend a week there doing my writing & a artistic……

Beds were comfy, nice washer and dryer, kitchen has everything you could need but we did not cook. Love the screened in porch that looks into the woods so you have a little privacy. “My dog, Moon, and I had a wonderful, peaceful time at this rental this summer! This cabin is well-designed in a compact, very comfortable space. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals and the dining table has a wonderful view of Dark Cove. It was warm enough while I was there to eat breakfast and lunch out on the lakeside deck. We used the air conditioning when it became too hot. The bathroom shower is a full tub-sized shower, which is unusually spacious for a northern Maine……

"The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient."
