“This is an amazing property in a very peaceful setting away from the hustle bustle of tourists. The pool area and the grounds overall are absolutely stunning! They have a beach club which is a few steps down from the property and that was the perfect walk for us every day. They also have golf carts to take you there if you don’t care to walk. The service was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. It was my……

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……

“The Hideaway is great. The staff is wonderful, the proper is beautiful and the food is delicious. Our only issue was slow toilet flushing but that was minor compared to all of the wonderful things we found at the Hideaway. There’s a very sweet iguana that hangs by the patio. We named him Esteban and enjoyed seeing him each morning. ”
