“My buddy and I get our families together every few years. We decided to try out Lake Lure this year. The Lake Lure Oasis in the Woods was the perfect place! We had 11 guests to include 4 adults and 7 kids from 3 to 16 years of age. Chris’ place was plenty spacious for us and very clean. Chris was very responsive. Upon arrival, we realized the microwave wasn’t working and Chris had a replacement brought to the house the same day. If you have a large family or friend group this place would be……

“With the lake not yet active after the storm I was concerned if the younger adults would be bored or not have a great time. We all had a blast. That game table is a hit! Good for. A few minutes entertainment or several hours depending on what you want to play. Very comfortable beds. Very beautiful place. Easy to use tbs and kitchen ware. Enough technology to impress. But not ultra technical gadgets to complicated to use. We had an awesome time! Will stay again if available. Quiet neighborhood……

“My family and I had a great time at this house. It was comfortable and well stocked with all the amenities. The pool was fun and the restaurant on site was pretty good.It was great to find a place that allowed us to bring our two small dogs. There was even a dog park on site.We had a great time!”

“The Grafton Lodge, and particularly suite #6, exceeded our expectations. The property was well maintained and manicured, and our suite was unbelievable. It was beautiful, well furnished and decorated, and very clean. But most important, the King bed was very comfortable...we slept like babies. ”

“I was only here for one night on business but the TV channel selection was pretty poor. Staff was a bare minimum, I imagine because the Lake was lowered to do maintenance. ”
