“The room was tidy and overlooked the river. Falling asleep to the sound of water rushing over the old mill dam was very special. The restaurant below the hotel had the best coffee and espresso in Maine. No hyperbole. The best. We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant over the weekend. It is a “you get what is fresh and in season” menu with a few decisions for the guest to customize. People may unfairly consider this restrictive whereas we thought it highly pragmatic and forward thinking. If……

“We had a family gathering in the area and this was perfect for our family of 4. ”

“Rooms have a certain charm. Owners are always friendly and informative. The only downside that gave us concern is that the entry doors had a habit of sticking. Being an older home the owner warned us about it.”

“As always our stay was perfect. We use the Milford Motel on the River because its super convenient for us. Its close to our inlaws and close to town. When we had to cancel our last trip the Motel called me to make sure everything was okay, and that nothing major happened. ”
