“I travel for business to NYC and I'd never stayed in the Bronx. My usual areas were either full or overpriced so I took a shot at a good looking listing. I was impressed with not only my accommodations, but the building amenities were also top notch. Excellent gym! “I read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. “The actual apartment itself was fine. A bit tight but fine. The greatest concern was the trash that was on the roof right outside my patio. Which made you not want to sit on the patio.
