“Beautiful property. Farmhouse reminded me of my grandparents 1890's farmhouse. I enjoyed the historical, mountainous feel of the home and location. It is nice staying at a location that isn't the cookie cutter style that has become the norm. ”

“Such a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful location. We drove up from Florida for a wedding near Pilot Mountain, and we're so glad we chose "A Mighty Oak" for our stay. Todd kindly offered to take us for a mini tour of the farm to see the cows, chickens and pigs. Our daughter fell in love with "Heart" (the special cow with a unique marking on her face; you'll just have to visit them to see where her name comes from). Our morning walks were fun and refreshing, as we enjoyed the slightly cooler……

“The old Mills farm is like going home. The vast backyard invites you to experience the night sky and all it’s wonders. The patio is perfect for quiet evenings by a fire or for morning sunrise yoga, and the lounge chairs provide a place to relax and get some sun. “Host was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was perfect for an overnight visit to Mayberry and the location was in a nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the town. ”

“The cottage was great . It could use more lighting in the living room. Location was perfect for us to be close to family that live in Pilot Mountain. Would definitely like to stay here again. ”

“The bungalow was as described and pictured. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. Darryl was extremely responsive to questions. Although a third person could stay I would say it is more suited for couples. We have a small SUV and the parking was a little tight. We were able to maneuver with no problem but it might would be a challenge with a larger SUV (?). The location is great as we’re able to walk to Main Street and see the sights. Very close to downtown Mount Airy as well. Very pleased……
