“Got the room option with private bathroom very basic but good for what we needed. Felt safe and it was super convenient to everything. Hostel vibes with friendly staff and a restaurant right next door. If you want a place to rest your head between adventures this is it. ”

“The Cala Lodge is so eco conscious, views are phenomenal , nature walk, birds…wow! Staff is extremely kind and breakfast was delicious. Recommendations were appreciated. Room so cute and comfy. A small coffee maker/hot water maker in room would be amazing but only a suggestion. Was a wonderful experience and close to cloud forest!”

Tienen espacios muy agradables y senderos, y el restaurante la verdad fue de lo mejor que probamos en Monteverde. El personal del hotel sumamente amable, nos atendieron en recepción Ariana y Yerlin, y nos asesoraron sobre las actividades de tours disponibles y nos apoyaron en reservarlas. Teníamos algunas dudas y fueron muy amables en ayudarnos a resolverlas. Incluso me ayudó un buen rato para……

“The host Roy was so helpful and nice. The Family cabin was clean and had lots of beds. The standard cabin was smaller but nice as well. Do be aware that in some of the cabins the only bathroom is on the 2nd floor, up a steep stairs. This was fine for younger folks but was difficult for my older parents. We loved the grounds and trails, we saw so many birds, butterflies, and pretty flowers. It was a quite and safe area and a very good price.”
