“Our stay in this lovely cottage was so beautiful and peaceful. The host was pleasant and is a retired TXST Alumni. We loved the atmosphere and hospitality. There are a few rock steps up to the yard from parking but very doable. Parking is shaded by a lovely well established tree. There is a ramp or steps into the cottage which was very nice. Beautiful art installations in the garden and yard. ”

From the Mirror of Erised to the Monster Book of Monsters to themed décor, we enjoyed discovering all the details. “What a perfect getaway for us to stay! So quiet, love the view and easy walk to see the river. Had everything we needed!”

“Beautiful, restful cabin on the river with amazing wildlife viewing - we saw owls, egrets, turtles, and deer! Definitely recommend!”

“It was so peaceful, which was exactly what I needed. Kiko greeted me the first night and led my car back to my cabin. He is the sweetest dog! I loved that they had a jar of goat treats on the counter for me to feed the goats with and they left eggs in the fridge for me! The communication was excellent. They replied quickly to any message and were enthusiastic to help me with anything during my stay. ”

“Was not aware there was a shared bathhouse/bathroom, there were large bugs inside the A frame, and we didn’t get any check in instructions sent prior to arrival.”

“The fox tiny home was a great place to stay! While feeling as though you are out in the country and away from the hustle and bustle of normal life, it was near to where I needed to go. The hostess was very pleasant and could easily be reached. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone. ”

“Who knew you could find true hill country living so close to Austin !?! This is rural Texas at its core just a short drive from downtown. It's PERFECT for anyone attending a Circuit of the America's racing/driving event. The main mattress was a little dippy. Pull out the mattress from under the day bed. It was much more comfortable.”

“This is a unique and very relaxing place to spend a few days. Not too far from San Marcos, nestled in the Hill Country, and packed with charm, this was the perfect rvacation spot for my wife and me. The decor inside and out made this a memorable location. The hosts have thought of pretty much everything. Kiko, the very friendly dog that roams the property was a real plus for my wife and me. We’ll be back. Highly recommended!”
