“Pros: Beach access, cute rooms, great manager, prompty replaced our broken a/c unit, noce pool Cons: Small rooms, continually had to ask for towels (they'd take the dirty ones away, but not replace them), that shower head :( We would totally stay agin, though. Lived the easy beach access and overall location. ”

“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”

“Renovations going on when i was there so do understand some things not up to par. Hope they do something with showers as water pressure was awful and during shower setting went to scalding a without notice. Ice machine was not easilyaccessible. Otherwise stay was as anticipated ”

“Liked closeness to beach an option of just staying a night! Liked two seperate bedrooms. Did not like very old furniture or that ac was only in living room ”
