“The room was spacious and clean, except for those unprofessional front desk staffs. The first male staff did not explain the deposit and vacation fee, and did not smile at all. Though I understand every hotel requires deposit and vacation fee, this is very unprofessional that he just directly record my credit card without a word. “The hotel was beautiful and in a wonderful walkable area. Our room was comfortable and clean. The problems came with the Do Not Disturb sign and breakfast. Housekeeping walked into our room while I was walking naked to the shower, while the sign was on the door. They sent an apology truffle assortment and a handwritten note to apologize while I was out of the room with the sign still on the door! Twice they entered my room. When it came to breakfast, in a nutshell, it was almost a half hour late……

“This was the perfect hotel for my family's trip to Washington DC. The full kitchen is amazing and made managing 3 kids under 10 a breeze. "We requested a comforter at 10:00pm and the front desk told us that the housekeeping office was locked already and we cannot have an extra comforter because of that. As a result, we have to live through the cold night without an extra comforter"

"The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently located for my mother in a wheelchair to visit the Tidal Basin."
