“We usually stay with family when in Texas, but this year we decided to make a surprise visit for my dads 80th birthday.The Alpaca ranch was the perfect location, and proved to be very private and quite. Everything we needed for a long stay was provided and the home was very clean. The patio and game areas where invaluable for hosting additional family, with extra room, should anyone chose to spend the night. “Such a wonderful surprise pulling up to this fabulous property! Nestled in farmland you can’t help but feel cheerful every day watching all of the animals on the property! Horses, foals too, mini cows, chickens, pigeons, ducks and a resident grumpy goose who has them all waddling wherever he goes!! Three resident dogs are happily running around the farm.The property itself was immaculate. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. There was nothing we lacked. “We had a wonderful stay. There was a problem with the garage door, and the host quickly resolved the issue without interrupting our trip. We really enjoyed the quiet country setting, and my wife really enjoyed how close we were to the Tanger outlet stores. ”

“this was a great spot for us while visiting family in Boyd! a bit of a 'driveway' to navigate, but with AWD vehicle - ok! since it had rained a lot!!! also, the gettting out to open the gate and close every time, a bit of an inconvenience but ok.”
