“Staff very friendly and welcoming , room clean and spacious and it was great to have the seperate shower .. Breakfast was spot on . Very close to town and we loved the location .. recommend the Blues Bar . Regularly stay here with my husband or a friend ”

“Lack of choice of coffee was a let down not everyone likes pod coffee . Original Nescafé sachets would be a good idea as the tea selection you had a choice . Bit of a let down as most places do accommodate proper coffee ”

“comfortable traditional hotel refurbished. Room on the top floor ok for one night but fairly small made more claustrophobic by the view from the windows being half blocked by the parapets of the edifice. Comfortable bed and great breakfast”

“We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room on the third floor was a decent size with all the basics including an ironing board and iron. It looked out on a main road with several bars but the noise, even on a Friday night,……
