“All staff in the Castle and Spa were helpful and kind. Although the hotel was well understaffed at one point on a sat night the bar lounge didnt have a bartender for over half hour, leaving guests unable to order food or drinks ”

“Loved our stay, great location. Our room was compact, but well appointed and clean. Only minor gripe being a very small shower. Absolute highlight was our host Roxana. Lovely from start to finish, friendly, helpful and an amazing chef because breakfast was awesome. Will definitely return when we go back to the Dales. ”

“The whole place is stunning, staff are friendly & very helpful. Stayed here a few times & has been great every time. Sports bar is normally great for food & drinks, only thing I could possibly complain about was the lack of options for food in The Bunker. They ran out of Pizzas on my last visit & it was basically a choice of a Burger or a Burger! Apart from that this is beautiful place to stay.”

“We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room on the third floor was a decent size with all the basics including an ironing board and iron. It looked out on a main road with several bars but the noise, even on a Friday night,……
