Maggie & Sam Hanes' property on Pearl Lake is perfect for those looking for large-group accomodations. “I really loved this cabin on the lake. It was perfect. The adults sat by the fire pit nightly and the kids played in the water every day. The way the house is split with two living rooms flanking is he ends of the house was perfect. Kids could watch a movie while adults talked without interruption. This house is located very near hikes and bike paths. We really enjoyed our stay and would be back. The only suggestion I would have for the owner would be to have more rugs in the house. Without……

“Thank you for a delightful stay in this comfortable & cosy carriage house. We stayed here to climb & hike the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. A perfect location for exploring, as at every turn there was a hiking trail, lake, wineries & restaurants. So peaceful drinking our morning coffee & enjoying the lake view. “My wife and I stayed here M-F the second week in October. We came for the fall foliage, scenic drives, wineries, cideries and relaxation in a cozy house on a lake. All boxes checked…we had a perfect week! This house had plenty of room, was well equipped and the entire rental process was flawless! ”

“the building was built in the 1930s yes its old . what a beautiful house. great porch great kitchen with shiplap walls and ceiling. very functional everything was there frig microwave toaster oven , nice bedrooms shower worked great . great yard firepit with chairs car parking on site .fantastic view of the lake. easy access to town and restaurants in walking distance . we were there to fish. great access to the lake. overall we liked it very much. hope to stay again next year.”

“This is a nice cottage where five adults in our group stayed. The location is perfect for exploring the entire area. Would definitely recommend!”

“We booked this cabin in June 2024. The view was wonderful to wake up to each morning. We used the fire pit for s’mores one night. We also used the kayaks and paddle boards. The cabin was exactly as pictured. It’s a short drive to Frankfort, which has lots of cute shops and good places to eat. I highly recommend Stormcloud Brewery for a delicious meal. I also highly recommend staying at this cabin. We will definitely book it again for future trips!”

“We loved this house. 4 adults and 4 teens fit easily and happily here. Crystal Lake is gorgeous and we rented the extremely nice boat and went out on the Lake many of the days we stayed here. I highly recommend this house.”

“We stayed with our four kids and brought the boat. The kids fished off the dock where we parked the boat during our stay. In walking distance of a grocery store, Fiddleheads breakfast/lunch spot, the Boathouse Winery, the Capital Dog (great ice cream), a True Value and even a gas station.Plenty of seating on the deck and the four queen beds (two were pull out couches) worked for our family.
