“The house had everything we needed and was very snug during the cool evenings. It was nice to be such a short drive from many different places to visit and waking up to the birds was really peaceful.”

“The home was easy to find but felt secluded in the rainforest. Very convenient to stores, restaurants, and Volcanoes Park. Peggy was a great host with coffee provided, plenty of kitchenwares, towels, and blankets. Very thoughtful with umbrellas, flashlights, and even a basket full of warm socks by the door. I would definitely stay here again! ”

“We loved the modern cabin and its amenities. Convenient location only 3 miles from Volcano National Park. Not as secluded as you might think - which could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for… Neighbors were noisy at times and you can hear highway traffic. But you also hear frogs and birds! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend and would book again! ”

“This was overall a nice place for us to stay for a couple of nights. Loved the location - the lushness and feeling of isolation was wonderful. Check in and communication were awesome. While they did their best to mitigate the mustiness of living in Hawaii, it was still there. Only other thing to fix would be the small leak in the toilet that caused the water pump to turn on all hours of the day/night. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay!”

“This bungalow is perfection. It is super clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the fire place in the living room came in handy on chilly nights. The house has everything you need but the stand out feature is the outdoor space. The porch was a great place to relax after a day of hiking, and is accessible from the living room and the bedroom. The yard has a fire pit (which we did not use) but used the seating to lounge in the sun. The location is just 5 minutes from Volcanos……

“Great communication with the host. We really enjoyed the stay and the beautiful setting. The only recommendation I would make is to have the dehumidifier be self draining, as it got pretty damp unless we were able to empty it at least 3-4 times a day.”
