“Amazing stay this weekend at Ashdown. We were able to play tennis, use the driving range, lunch and walk around the grounds all before checking in. Room was beautiful and clean with a great view! Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast also great and generous portions. Service fantastic! ”

“Old English Pub and Inn, clean and well kept. The food was great and the rooms clean. We stayed the week and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Just what you'd imagine a village Pub should be! So happy to have found The Swan, we'll be back to stay again! ”

“Everything was great, the only small gripe I had was that it took a long time for the hot water to reach temperature for the shower, even using the electric boost option. Host was really helpful and room excellent and spacious for a solo traveller which was much appreciated.”

“The lady on reception was extremely accommodating and friendly. The bar and restaurant is quaint. The only criticism we have is at the bar manager and the mixologist. We were told by reception on arrival that being a Greene King chain we could order our food and drink via app at our table when we went down to dinner which we did, however the mixologist came over to our table and criticised us using the app as he said he didn’t have all the ingredients for the cocktails we were ordering. “Amazing themed rooms, very clean m with crisp white cotton sheets, and very comfy bed and pillows. Powerful shower and fluffy towels. Breakfast choice was amazing, cooked to order , very hot and tasty. Staff could not have been more helpful, requested more tea and milk sachets, bought to our room with 5 mins and asked if we would prefer fresh milk! Lady serving breakfast was lovely, very helpful and friendly Definitely stay here again ”

“Always my go to in T. wells when visiting family. Close proximity to the Pantiles is amazing for food + Drink. Easy access to town. Great rooms (get the suite if you can)”
