“Everything was great except the walls were paper thin. You can hear people walking in the room above and even people talking outside the room. The price is what makes it good.”

“The one bedroom condo was great. A little dated in carpeting etc. Beds comfy and nice bathroom . Two pools and the restaurant and bar were closed and not disclosed at time of booking. Zero housekeeping services for three days. Called front desk, and they said that that was “odd”. The resort is in a good location with access to other restaurants and shopping, groceries etc. ”

“Alot of kid noise at pool and couldnt hear music at all. 10 bucks for a can of beer little high. Rooms on the older side. Not bad but not great either. ”

“It was clean and had nice views and decent amenities. The pool water was too warm for enjoyment, and there were a lot of what seemed high school groups, like it was a quiet party zone; it just takes a couple of obnoxious people to tick me off. They worked hard getting an old outdated hotel somewhat updated.”

“Phoenician is a nice spot, but some of it is nearing the end of its lifecycle. In particular, the casitas are tired. We stayed in a premium casita and it felt really old and tired. The property itself is very decent and has tons of options. Location is great. Food is great. Service is wonderful and attentive. Pools are great - and there’s many of them. All around, a nice spot, but to stay “five star”, they’ll need to get the rooms back up to speed.”
