“Very nice place to stay. It was very nice to sit in the beer garden and have some pub grub. Food service started at 5:30 pm. Breakfast was really good. We stayed in the Willow room that can sleep up to four people. Only downside was the creaky floor from the guest above our floor. Would stay there again.”

“Staff were very helpful and attentive, room was very spacious and clean. There should be the choice in bedrooms for a slip mat to go in the bath. I also feel that the ability to choose a teabag for personal use in bed room would be welcome as well would access to a Sunday paper. I think a 5 might then be earned. ”

“The first time we came to this hotel to park without paying, but this time we need to pay for parking, we are really dissatisfied.”

“Terrible. Bathroom/Shower disgusting, couldn't shower. Mirror was unusable due to dirt, water marks, damp. Mould in the shower, smelt fusty. Dirt under beds, old yoghurt wrappers. Shouldn't be advertised for a family, if had option to stay elsewhere at last munute we would have done. ”

“It was more comfortable than I taught. For the price of each night, it exceeded it. A walking distance to the train station. It’s clean, easy to locate. Direction on how to access the building was clear. The room was sizeable, although it a shred bath and toilet, they were clean. I will recommend if you are staying a night or two.”

“Room was comfortable and had additional extras ie. small bottle of wine, coffee machine, savoury snacks and biscuits. Good selection for breakfast but unfortunately, cooked options were lukewarm/cold. ”

“Wonderful room (which we would like to stay in again) and the only tiny niggle was a poorly flushing toilet, which perhaps just reflects older plumbing arrangements. Great spa and, having stayed several times before, we noticed that the restaurant, which had always been good, seemed to have stepped up a notch into fine dining. We really enjoyed the meals, including the breakfasts, with great service from the restaurant staff. The grounds are always a pleasure to explore and not least this time……
