“Easy to get to and parking was breeze. Location was great - walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was scheduled to be served at 6am and they had everything out earlier which was great! ”

“The owners/staff were very nice and helpful. They promoted the local restaurants, one of which I dined. The hotel was clean, upgraded. Little noisy with room doors slamming (they did not lock quickly like normal doors so patrons slammed them without knowing they would engage in a short time period). Breakfast could have included more fruit and other healthier options. But overall, it was enjoyable.”

“Amazing for comfort, price, forest view, ease of check in/out, quiet, clean and terrific maid service. The owner/manager for 25 yrs (Preeti) knows how to run a unique hotel experience. You can tell she loves he hotel business & the clients. She can make you feel welcome & comfortable even for a short stay. The location is so easy and affordable to drive to and from Lynchburg and Richmond airport. ”

“The appearance of the room looked clean, however we tried to run a bath and we could not get the tub to fill. When packing up to leave we noticed a there was a roach in the side table. Nice staff though. Looks like they may be remodeling some of the rooms. ”

“Reception was great though a little bit chatty, TV did not work - only snow. Could not get Wifi to link and no info on same in room. BUT architecture and history, decor fantastic. Spent our time outside on lower walk area and awesome live music at The Water Dog. Best bkfst at My Dog Duke's Diner. Great town, good urban hike on the hills. New big fans!”
