However, the gracious host, Stefan, went above and beyond by setting me up with a neighbor for the night and showed me a great local restaurant, Pacific Seafood, which was out of this world, then made a phenomenal breakfast in the morning! While many hosts may have said they're sorry, it's Expedia's fault, which it was. However, at Antemo Lodge, Stefan stepped up and solved the problem by ensuring I was cared for. Antemo……

“Just spent the weekend at Les Voiles Blanches and it was absolute perfection! The property is pristine, the gardens lush, and the bungalows beautifully designed and we'll appointed. Joe’s warm hospitality and incredible breakfasts made each day feel special—and his Painkiller cocktail was one of the best I’ve ever had! He helped us arrange a massage and even lent me a yoga mat for morning stretches on the peaceful covered deck. The sweet pups, refreshing pool, and thoughtful touches made this……

“The staff at Hotel Capitán Suizo was beyond outstanding. The care they impart on their guests, the grounds and their hotel is excellent. The grounds are breathtaking and as a small boutique hotel, it is a quiet refuge located at the very end of the busy Tamarindo strip. “The owner, chef, and ladies made our stay here for my birthday quite special, with champagne, towel art- absolutely amazing!! The monkeys that live here- 2 families- are a hoot! Now I will say they are loud, lots of banging at night, dropping things on the roof. You get used to it, but if you are light sleeper like myself, highly recommend using earplugs and a sleep mask. I would wake up, and think, oh that’s a monkey, and g back to sleep. Elmer the chef made us dinner twice, all delicious food!……

“Staff were AMAZING such lovely people I truly cannot express that enough. However, location a little inconvenient as there is a required dirt path that you need to take to leave and come in. The path is so raggedy and bumpy it’s almost painful. Other than that this resort is amazing ”
