“The guesthouse was very clean and loved the location. Very close to the barbican but very quiet. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. ”

The room was lovely, absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone for any length of stay. Lovely breakfast too”

“Didn't like repeated auto emails asking for self check in and credit card details for incidentals. Didn't like silly health and safety window locks that didn't allow airflow into room. Fans are not at all adequate on hot days. I wonder where health and safety stands if one faints due to the heat on hot days or the risk or access if there is a fire. I did like that reception staff was very helpful to find me another room on the cooler side of the building. TVs need upgrading to Smart TVs. ”

“This was our second stay at Elfordleigh, set in beautiful grounds andvery convenient for plymouth yet you feel you are in the country. Food is lovely and plenty of it . Staff at Elfordleigh were very friendly and accommodating even letting us use new showers in the golf block after we checked out so we were refreshed fot the theatre show. Pool and spa area was also very good.Really enjoyed are stay and we will definitely be back”

“They are helpful. The location is near the centre, just 5-10 mins walk through the Plymouth University. Single bed size is 2.5 feet only.”
