“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any……

“Lovely hotel and garden arrived, checked in and had a G&T in the garden. The evening meal in the restaurant was absolutely delicious with friendly and helpful staff both in the restaurant and the bar. Lovely nights sleep in a four poster bed. The only downside was the shower had only two settings, scalding and off. We reported it to reception and the girl explained to us how to use a shower. I pointed out that we already knew how to use a shower. She did not understand that it had no control on……

“We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.”
