“The hotel was fabulous newly built property. It is in a nice area. The customer service was amazing!!! “I had a great experience at Ivy Boutique Hotel on a previous visit, but this time was a complete letdown. The heating was broken in freezing 0-degree Chicago weather, making the room unbearably cold. To make matters worse, there was no liner between the sheets, which felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. It’s clear that the quality has decreased significantly, and the attention to detail is lacking. For the price, I expected much better. Won’t be returning.”

“The hotel offers a separate bedroom, which I want when I travel. The front desk personnel were wonderful and informative. The elevators are slow and small. Even though this is a non smoking hotel, several times we entered an elevator that smelled of cannabis. ”

“We were in town for a family event and couldn’t have chosen a better location. It was central to everything including the L. (We love when it’s walkable!) Everyone was friendly and the room was clean. The only negative was the quality of the sofa bed. The mattress was a joke at best. It was like two pieces of cardboard covered in fabric. Fortunately, a wonderful gentleman from housekeeping brought us a memory foam topper and that made a huge difference. I would definitely look into replacing the……

“Take the blue line right to Jackson stop and walk to the hotel to enjoy the neighborhoods. The Blackstone is stunning, the rooms serene and clean. Our room had a fabulous 9th floor view of the lake. Read “Living Land marks of Historic Chicago” by Goodrich to get an idea of all there is to see. Check out the art hall floor, and art corridor murals a block behind hotel.”
