“Everything we hoped it would be and more. Friendly, very helpful staff and fantastic food and service which started before we arrived. The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. “Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly. “We had a very pleasant overnight stay in a very nice room. Our only issue was the bathroom door was very badly warped and could only be closed if slammed. It then took a great deal of force to open it. If we had been staying for more than 1 night we would have asked to change rooms but decided to put up with it as we wouldn't be spending much time in the room. We only had dealings with the reception staff but all were very helpful and friendly. ”

“Exeter court hotel has recently undergone a renovation of its bedrooms. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although near a major road there is very little noise from the road. I would recommend a stay here. It’s very easy to reach many parts of Devon by car.”

“The room was very spacious. Massive TV. Very large en-suite. Immaculately clean. Food was really tasty and hot and well cooked. Staff were very helpful, even gave us a larger room than the one we pre-booked because it was vacant when we arrived. Car parking was directly outside our room and did not cost. Overall if I could give 6 stars then I would. Of all the places we stayed in the last 25 years I would rate this in the top 3. Many thanks and look forward to staying again if we ever get within……
