“Das Studio war sehr geräumig und sehr gross. Wir hatten eine schöne grosse Terrasse. Das Abendbuffet für 20 Euro pro Person war nicht ¨überwältigend. Nach einer Stunde der Eröffnung war der Tun schon ausgegangen. Das Morgenbuffet 1 Stunde vor Schliessung war fast leer. Wir mussten beim Servierpesonal nachfragen ob wir eine Schüssel für den Fruchtsalat erhalten, dann ging das Wasser aus auch hier wieder das gleiche Spiel nachfragen und warten. ”

“This is excellent hotel, and we loved the building and the surrounding garden. It is not in the main area of large all inclusive hotels, but in a residential part of the city which made our Madeira experience more authentic. The walk to the center is easy, but I imagine it may be not that comfortable for someone with walking difficulties. We enjoyed our climb and had bo problem with it. “A very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful staff . All areas are spotless and rooms spacious and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and there is one heated pool . Very much appreciated in the winter months ! The hotel is in a convenient position with a short downward walk into Funchal and also benefits from certain areas within The Savoy Palace . Breakfasts delicious .. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely recommend. We will return ! ”

“Spacious room but needs to be refreshed, at least painting. We had a nice sea view from the window. The staff was welcoming and nice. The breakfast was average, almost without pastries; breakfast coffee was not good, if not bad. Regarding dinners, bars and pool, we haven't try any of them, so can say nothing. Overall good, but can be better for the price. ”
