“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”

“Staff are very welcoming and will help as much as they can, to make sure your stay is good, the rooms are clean and fresh, the bar and dining areas are clean, and the pool table is a great added extra to this B&B. Like most old buildings there is always something that needs doing, if you look for it, but overall the property is in good character. We stayed for 1 night for a business trip, but would stay for more nights as the feeling of the place is very good, and this is down to the staff,……

“Beautiful grounds”

“We had an amazing stay, the Old Vine is a beautiful historic building in central Winchester. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great, thebathroom was large and very clean. We had breakfast in our room which was delicious and hot and plentiful. All the staff were great and very attentive.”
