“I was disappointed in the condo. I was shown a picture of it being on the water. My view was the parking lot and pool. The condo was a time warp,of the late 70's .It was cleanish but definitely needed updates,or gutting.”

“We took our teenage daughter to FL as a Christmas gift and visited family that winters here. This condo was perfect for us. Great location, just as listed and pictures are accurate. Condo was clean and thoughtfully decorated. We would definitely stay here again. Host was a great communicator and we had no issues. ”

“Lovely home, great relaxing pool area and lanai. Our hosts were so thoughtful and accommodating! We appreciated the use of beach chairs and cooler. I enjoyed the Keurig for a nice selection of hot drinks. Comfortable bed, and roomy bathroom, stocked with shampoo etc. Even something for our sunburn! We enjoyed having a nice place to come home to after spending our days at the beach or exploring the area. We walked at various walking trails, visited the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Punta……

“The Sunset Inn was a wonderful choice for our overnight in Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte. “Nicely updated and comfortable bungalow/half duplex. Modest but tidy. Very good communication from owner. Location is suitable for a base of operations for exploration of the Punta Gorda area, but its proximity to a major thoroughfare results in a lot of traffic noise. The sound machines in the bedrooms are effective at blocking the traffic noise during sleep, a considerate amenity. Basic yet clean and affordable accommodations with a lot to do within a drive of an hour or less.”
