“This property was very nice. The cabins are somewhat rustic. The cabin had a wood burning fireplace. It was somewhat drafty but definitely an experience. The staff was very hard working and did a wonderful job cleaning and with the grounds. ”

“This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. The purpose of my trip was birding, so please be advised that I speak from this perspective, and fancy accommodations and other excursions were not important to me during this stay. “Pierre, our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast omelette while watching birds at the feeding stations. The gardens were very enjoyable. Our air conditioned room with our ensuite bathroom with a fantastic shower was wonderful after bird watching in several sites within a short driving distance. ”

“Hotel très sympathique, dans un très beau parc avec un pont suspendu . Notre chambre était tout en bas du parc, près de la rivière, ce qui était particulièrement agréable . Grande chambre avec un grand balcon et un hamac. Possibilité de se balader dans des petits chemins dans ce domaine. Petit déjeuner correct, avec vue sur les oiseaux, beaucoup de fruits et des pancakes .”

“Es handelt sich um ein riesieges Holzgebäude,das jemand vor mehreren Jahren mit viel Liebe gebaut hat. Es liegt abseits der Straße auf einem Mischgelände aus Kuhwiesen u. Restwald. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, rustikal und nach aussen offen, so dass man abends- wenn man nicht von Moskitos zerfressen werden will- kein Licht benutzen sollte. Das Personal wirkte unmotiviert, unfreudlich u. wenig hilfsbereit. Beim Einchecken bekommt man direkt eine Liste mit Aktivitäten, gezeigt u. natürlich die……

“I stayed here for a night during my Costa Rica trip. The eco lodge is eco-friendly, the staff was really nice. The peark of staying at the Tirimbina lodge is that you do not have to pay an extra fee for the hikes through the reserve. The place is nice and clean, you are surrounded by nature and that is why I went there. I did the night guided tour and it was thrilling to cross the bridge at night. If you go there, that is a must ! ”

“Tolle Unterkunft mitten im Regenwald. Zimmer ist 1/2 einer Hütte mit Terasse. Großes Bett, kein Kühlschrank. Schöne Parkanlage, nettes Personal. Gute Frühstück im Restaurant wo man auch abends gut essen kann. Zufahrt über eine enge Privatstraße, die keinen Gegenverkehr erlaubt und deshalb per Funk geregelt wird. Angebote wie Führungen, ZIP-Line und Seilbahn sind direkt vor Ort. Seilbahnfahrt ist schön, aber sehr teuer. Wir würden wieder kommen.”
