“Plenty of space to park, The hotel is nicely decorated clean and modern. The room was quite spacious with twin beds ample wardrobe and drawer space. Tea coffee kettle in the room. Tv. The bathroom was a good size with shower cubical sink and loo. Complimentary soaps shampoos and shower gels. Free wifi for guests.. We ordered food before going out for the evening. The food was nice and fairly priced as were the drinks from the bar. The beds were comfortable , 2 pillows on each bed. The……

“We stayed at the Golden Lion with friends as we were walking the 3 peaks on the Friday, we both stayed in a classic room, the rooms were lovely, comfy bed, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, tea and coffee and bottled water, don't forget to ask for milk before bed. We ate in the restaurant both nights, the food was lovely and we had great service. We had asked for breakfast the morning of our walk as we had to leave at half 6, unfortunately they forgot to leave out any bread or bowls for……

“A really beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location with extremely friendly staff members. The room was comfortable and spacious although the bathroom is perhaps a little dated now and the shower quite a squeeze (even for a size 12 woman) but having a bath was much appreciated. Our evening meal was good, though not exceptional but nothing to complain about. We were disappointed that the answer to our question as to whether we could have porridge without salt was a very firm 'no' but it was a nice……

“The internet connection is unstable. Other than that, it’s great place to stay. Friendly and competent staff. Clean room. Great bar. The hotel is within talking distance to the Lancaster train station (ca. 13-15 min) and local bus stops (ca. 5 min.)”

“Great stay at the green dragon inn. Its a really old pub so if you are into modern, this will not suit you. The staff are brilliant. Food was good. The room was fantastic, better than we expected. Crisp white linens on the bed, fab pillows and duvet. Great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this place.”
