“Devonport House is a wonderful guest house in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Jenn and Jacques are great hosts and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing. “Lovely place and extremely well situated for visiting the constantia wine route (walkable to Beau Constantia) and Kirstenbosch. Well presented and decorated lounge areas, both inside and out. Great to have nice coffee and sweets available at all times. Room (Pumba) was a little smaller than expected but absolutely fine for what we needed. Shower was lovely. Did struggle a bit getting our cases down to the room, steps quite steep and having to pass very close to another room which felt a bit……

“Even though we only stayed for two nights, it was really worth it. Ray and Sanchia were super helpful with anything we asked for or requested, the view is even more awe inspiring when you see it compared to the photos. The room is very spacious with all the usual amenities, as well as a few snacks and drinks and house keeping every day; if you need it. Lots of things to do around and nice places to eat. Don't be scared of the steps, they are definitely doable ;) ”
