“The old dairy excellent choice Den was the perfect host accommodations very good breakfast excellent nothing was to much of a problem for Den always willing to talk and answer any questions about the surroundings.”

“Everything we hoped it would be and more. Friendly, very helpful staff and fantastic food and service which started before we arrived. The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. Loved the chilled out vibe in the Poolside restaurant. ”

“I didn’t have a friendly welcome at the reception but most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The doors to the bedrooms are very clunky and I could hear doors closing with a loud thud. I could also hear dogs barking - which I didn’t appreciate. I had a “Superior” Double room with Sea View, so I was surprised to find the room had a ripped curtain. The room was comfortable and generally clean, but I did spot some grime on the bath by the shower screen. The room had a balcony but to be frank……

“Very efficient when we had a problem. Very friendly & helpful. Shower was missing a door which wasn’t fixed while we were there. ”

“The room we were first allocated had a broken window latch, the second room was really cold. The young lady on reception was friendly and very helpful and quickly found us an upgraded room which was much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay in the new room. ”
