“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “This was much nicer than we expected - very large room with comfy beds and an amazing ocean view. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars: ants in the room and the check in communication was odd. We'd go back. In a tiny strip mall below the property there are a few businesses - the coffee shop we went to was super kind and had decent options.”
