“So far the best hotel we have stayed at in Scotland. The room was far above our expectations. The bathroom has a roman tub, a shower, dual sinks. Water pressure was excellent. The bed had a very tall and stylish headboard. The closet was very deceiving. It revealed a huge room with a vanity and a mirror. The food was excellent. Despite the restaurant being so busy, the staff went out of their way to find us a table. The staff is the jewel crown. We will stay here the next time we are in town. ”

“This was the ideal place for my two week stay in Scotland. The location was perfect because it is within walking distance of my sister's home and close to bus stops that take you everywhere in the area. David was a delightful host and I felt very welcome and comfortable.”

“Excellent rooms with a great pub and restaurant downstairs. This is the second time I have stayed here and my third visit will be next week. So handy for local shopping in Morningside and Bruntsfield and on good bus routes for the rest of Edinburgh”

“Our first post lockdown trip within the country. We accidentally booked the accessible room. Staff was very helpful and changed to another normal room for our 4 night stay. Stylish room with well equipped kitchen. It was a bit warm in the room though. Another little down side was the ground floor room has less natural lights. Delicious breakfast from café Mayvn. We enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone trying to maintain a social distance from each other, sanitising everything after use,……

“Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer.”
