“Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. We had breakfast included which was nice and as part of their chain there is a local pub just up the road to have a meal in, should you choose. We had Sunday dinner there was lovely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and helpful, overall 5 stars all day……

“It was perfectly fine for what we needed, it is a budget hotel and that’s what you expect. We literally only needed a bed for the two nights as by day we are out. No complaints at all. It was also located perfectly as you cross over and go to your left you walk into Southsea, go to the right you’re in town or heading for the docks. It was tricky to get any water in the kettle from the little sink in the bathroom, the toilet had no cap on the flush, you had to press down on the bit the sticks up……

“Everything is in average. The hardware is definitely needed to be upgraded. Staff were nice. If you have plan to dine in their restaurant, be prepared to be very patient for waiting, however food was nice.”

“The apartment was clean and exactly what we was looking for as it was just a base for us to sleep and shower. The staff are friendly, unfortunately parking is not free and is quite expensive and they say there is parking in the area, unfortunately southsea/Portsmouth is on the ball with parking and is mostly only available for locals with a parking permits. If you like pubs,bars and restaurants you are in the right area as there are loads around. Yes i would stay there again.”
