“Lovely, quiet B&B on a farm. Location is remote, which made it a peaceful stay. There was plenty of parking available. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom and a strong wi-fi signal. The owner recommended a local pub, which was a 10-minute drive away. The food and beer were excellent! Breakfast the next morning was superb. The host was very helpful throughout.”

“Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out and made us feel completely looked after. The room was beautifully appointed, with everything we could need, and the bed was especially comfortable. “The soundproofing is poor, and I can hear the snoring from the neighboring room at night. I requested two bottled waters, but they did not provide them. The drainage in the bathroom is poor - after about 10 minutes of showering, the water starts draining out, as the shower area has a shallow floor and does not have enough time to properly drain. However, the hotel is indeed very close to the airport.”
