“Hotel Verde Mar and Spa was an excellent place to stay in Ribeira Grande. It was very easy to find and with lots of free parking. Location is perfect with a grocery store across the street and easy walk to old town Ribeira Grande and Vera Marde beach right in front. We had the ocean-view king room with a balcony. I highly recommend upgrading to the ocean view rooms. The sound of the waves, watching surfers out front, beautiful sunsets from the balcony and watching the horses in the field in……

We loved strolling through the village and discovering some lovely local restaurants. But the real highlight? Staying here came with access to the incredible Terra Nostra Garden. Spending the day soaking in the thermal pool, lounging in the hot tub, and wandering through the lush gardens was absolute heaven. We’d come back in a heartbeat! ”
