“ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Crossroads Inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There were drinking glasses, wine glasses and ceramic cups and saucers for a wide selection of Nespresso coffees. The innkeepers also provide a bag of food if you would like to feed their chickens! Breakfast was wonderful with local eggs, meats and fruit. We had a sumptuous four course dinner prepared by the Inn's chef with wines from the vineyard next door paired with each course. ……

“The property was breathtakingly beautiful. We were greeted by smiling staff with a glass of champagne to be shown around the main house. Our room was just steps from the lobby and dining areas which was convenient, however, we did have to keep the blinds drawn most of the time as all our windows (including the bathroom) faced the front parking lot. Additionally, this did not provide the most privacy as the doors/walls are very thin so you can hear most anything outside your room. It was quiet,……

“Silver Lake Inn is an amazing bed-and-breakfast. From the beautiful scenery to the historical house to the lovely room with the comfortable bed and great shower. The hospitality of the innkeepers was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay very much. So much so that I’m already thinking about booking it for next year. “This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The owners are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our room was lovely and we slept well. Breakfast each morning was delicious. The property was next to the Homestead so it's an easy walk if you book activities through the resort. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.”

“The house and deck had gorgeous views of the river and mountains. It was peaceful and relaxing. Donna, the owner, was very accommodating, sociable and offered us access to the entire home with use of the kitchen, fireplace, outdoor fire pit and outside deck areas. Breakfast was also excellent! We higjly recommend this BandB and will look to visit again in the fall. ”

“The Inn was on a lovely property near a river walk. An amazing ale house is also on the property. Very quaint and comfortable. Games, books and a front porch swing were provided. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. The Breakfests were exceptional with delightful farm fresh eggs and produce. Overall it was a very relaxing and fun getaway. A side note that Sperryville is a weekend town there was not much to do during the week. ”
