“We had a relaxing time in Dolly’s spacious and cute cottage! A great property w plenty of inside and outside space to gather yet still be separate if desired. The communication and information provided prior to arriving is the best we’ve experienced w/any VRBO. Tv, WiFi and hot tub all functioned well. Good night sleep was had by all and beds were comfy! We were able to make meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the large dining room table. We’d definitely return when looking to vacation in that……

“We had a great stay, nothing to complain about. The place was clean, well stocked kitchen (everything worked), comfy beds and very accommodating! We enjoyed some of the games/puzzles. Kayaks were fun. My only suggestion to owner/property manager is PLEASE remove the invasive vines covering the trees before it kills them. From the water, it definitely takes away from the beauty of this house compared to neighboring properties. Yes, there are a lot of stairs to the dock but we all managed……

“This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. “Enjoyed a relaxing getaway with friends. This place was just what we were looking for. Amazing decor, enjoyed hot tub and fire pit. Was tucked away to feel just far enough away from it all. We spent some time by river just about 20 min away. We were pleasantly surprised to find the extra roll away beds So there was plenty of space for 8 of us ladies. ”

“Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay.”
