“Really helpful friendly staff. Clean room ensuit with TV coffee etc. Extensive continental breakfast with service. Wide choice fresh delicious food for breakfast. Very dog friendly with happy relaxed atmosphere and friendly. Local bar with full range of beers wines and spirits at reasonable prices. Parking free on site.”

“Great welcome, lovely dog friendly old pub with large garden. Our rooms were large and comfortable with excellent beds, tea making facilities, good WIFI and everything we needed. Dinner was excellent with everything we ordered being very tasty. All the staff were lovely and friendly too. Brilliant draught cider selection of Thatchers Gold, Sheppy's and Exmoor brewery cider. Had an issue with one room unexpectedly not having been cleaned but they sorted perfectly with a free drink while they……

“This was a very low cost hotel, and I had limited expectations. BUT - room was large, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pleasant bar and restaurant (with reasonable prices). Plenty of free parking. Overall, exceptional hotel at the price.”

“Everything was superb, but may I make one suggestion. A iron and iron iron board in room. I know there is a service, but I only had to run an iron over a T-shirt. But thank you for a great stay”
