“We had the greatest family time eating our Thanksgiving Dinner and enjoying the snow. The house was spacious warm and comfortable. We played board games also put puzzles together. The little ones played basketball and rode bikes. HATS OFF TO YOU FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY!!!”

“We had a great stay here! The host was incredibly responsive and also had a lot of proactive communication and gestures. We’d mentioned we were getting in late, and wonderful and thoughtful accommodations were made for that. We loved the puzzles & puzzle board, since it rained. Lots of kids books and legos, too. The kitchen was clean and well stocked! Would recommend or return, hopefully for a longer and more dry time. The ONLY downside to me was the NY-23 traffic noise from the front,……

“For anyone who wants a quiet getaway in the beautiful hills of upstate NY or who wants to avoid the crowded antiseptic hotels of Oneonta if traveling for baseball, you can't do better than The Farmhouse. There is more than enough equipment and space for your family to be comfortably fed and sheltered. The soundtrack of the frogs in the pond or the red-winged blackbirds and barn swallows patrolling the skies make the porch-sitting extra special too. If you do choose to stay here because you will……

“The farmhouse is absolutely adorable. It has been fully restored and is very comfortable. It has all the modern conveniences you could ask for. We enjoyed our stay and if we are ever back in Cooperstown, we will definitely stay there again. The host was very helpful and always answered my emails immediately. ”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in East Meredith. The pasture adjoining the property with cows was a bonus. Only negative is on VRBO whose messaging system is broken, they know it and haven't fixed it.”

The house was so comfortable, beds were amazing and everything we needed was there. The fishing was great, and was a highlight for the kids. MJ was so nice and made sure everything was good when we arrived. ”

“The location was good. The house has a ton of space. The property was peaceful. I wasn’t aware that the basement was rented out separately so when we arrived we were surprised to find a car from another state there. I also wasn’t aware that the house DOES NOT HAVE A/C! The temperature reached 100 degrees but house does has a couple fans and gets a really good cross breeze when you open the doors and windows. I wish more of windows and the exterior doors had screens has there were quite a few……

“We spent five nights at this amazing property and it is by far one of the most beautiful and serene places we’ve ever stayed. The photos are truly representative of the farm’s many wonderful spaces. Everywhere you look the view is stunning. The early light barely illuminating the horses as they graze in the morning fog, the deer feeding in the upper field at twilight and the moon and stars shining brightly over the pond are images that will stay with us. Time passed slowly as we walked around……
