“The friendliness of check-in was average at best. The room was typical hotel room, average cleanliness. The bar/restaurant had 1 bartender/server on a PGA event weekend. The bar area and seating was full, with people walking out due to poor service. Saturday, we walked out after 15 minutes of no service, the lady was chatting with folks and cared less about serving customers. Sunday the guy was hustling, but again one man for a full bar.”

“Stay was pretty good. The problem for us was the person that checked us in didn’t give us any info on the Wi-Fi, services offered on site or help with any other normal things you might need to stay in a hotel. We didn’t know when check out was or where anything was. We were sold two queen beds on hotels.com and they were full sized beds. When I asked the staff they said it’s because we were in the hearing impaired or accessible room? Not sure why we were in that room as it’s the only room……

“Nice hotel with lots of room - full kitchen, living room with separate bedroom. I liked that the sink and mirror were separate from shower and toilet. Breakfast was great! Would definitely stay again!!! ”

“The Duke Mansion was fantastic! Such great hospitality …. Great location…. Great room! The breakfast was phenomenal ! We got the Bananas foster French toast ….. it was out of this world. I highly recommend . If we ever go to Charlotte again this will be where we stay. Southern hospitality at its finest . It was in a nice quiet location and beautiful grounds!”

“The bathroom had hair, the toilet wasn't cleaned properly, and the most unbelievable part was finding a discarded T-shirt on the chair in the room!!”

“This hotel is fabulous. It is a newer hotel so everything is clean, bright and fresh. The service was great. The staff were friendly and professional. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Charlotte and so many good restaurants, bars, and entertainment are easily within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.”

“Really enjoyed our anniversary stay here! Room was spacious and lovely, and there was actually plenty of places to sit and eat, unlike most hotel rooms. Our only complaint was the walk-in shower didn't have a door that could be shut, it was just halfway enclosed. Made for a chilly showering experience lol. We loved the amenities, they had a nice patio where they had a fire going in the evenings, and the pool was nice. Breakfast could have been better, and there was never any kitchen staff to be……
