“Mixed feelings about this stay. The inside of my room was clean and modern, obviously recently redone. The outside is a state; security lights hanging off the wall and tatty and actually it doesn’t feel all that safe walking around in the dark. I don’t know why they put solo female travellers as far away from reception as possible. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped and noise travels between rooms. The seal around the main door (which goes straight outside) was rubbish and there was a……

“Its a big but old hotel. Just need to stay for one or two days is ok, cos only 20 min. free wifi can be used, thats unbelievable in 2021. ”

“Hotel was lovely looking and the room was nice too. However, we paid a rate that was supposed to include breakfast. When we went down for breakfast we were told that the chef wasn’t in work that day so the only things available was panini or toasties out of the coffee room. The food looked like it had been there for ages and I paid for an actual breakfast. We weren’t told there was no chef until we went down for the meal. I feel we should have been charged less as at no point were we told that……
