“The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham.
We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills.
Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus.
We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.”
“The proprietor was very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. There was also tea,coffee, biscuits and water available in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. They do not do breakfast but the proprietor recommended places where we could obtain an evening meal with a pint of real ale and also some breakfast the following morning. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“Stunning boutique hotel with superbly designed, extremely stylish luxury rooms. Gorgeous rain shower. Thoughtful touches and everything you could need for a wonderful stay. Attached is a smart French restaurant with a superb reputation if you’d like a luxurious evening meal or breakfast too! Very short walk to Lancaster town centre, the castle, Judges Lodgings etc and countryside walks with views just to the rear of the hotel. Parking permit for the car park to the rear was provided for the……
“The internet connection is unstable. Other than that, it’s great place to stay. Friendly and competent staff. Clean room. Great bar. The hotel is within talking distance to the Lancaster train station (ca. 13-15 min) and local bus stops (ca. 5 min.)”
“I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!”

We had a superior room with balcony overlooking the sea and oh what a spectacular view and the weather was in blue sky and sunshine mode.
The service from checking in, restaurant and check out was warm, friendly and efficient. Well cooked and tasty choices in the menu.
