“We really enjoyed our stay, the location was great and the cabin was comfortable, however the carpet in the bedrooms is pretty dated and stained. And the floor in the kitchen was sticky. All in all we enjoyed our stay and realize the difficulty of maintenance with multiple guest, so a different floor type could be considered besides carpet. ”

“Very cozy little cabin/trailer! Sulfer water was the only thing unpleasant. Owners had bottled water in fridge which helped out. Driveway is gravel and a lottle iffu on motorcycle. Nice place over all and would stsy again.”

“As outdated as this place looks, it was actually very clean and comfortable. The bed was nice, the shower pressure was great, the water was hot. Bill is super friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. “Traveling through North Carolina, we found this place by just looking around on Google Maps. I am so glad we did. After booking, they called to verify the arrival time because the check-in desk closes at 5. While I thought this might be an issue because we were not going to get there until after 7 pm, they assured me it would not be and that there would still be someone on-site in case there were any issues. “We have been going to the snowbird for years. We really like the accommodations. We were disappointed that the new inn keeper wasn’t around and visiting with the guests as in past years. Also the wildflower walk activity that I was looking forward to was never mentioned. The morning we were leaving we overheard a man talking to two guests about doing it but it was never mentioned to us, despite my asking about it 3 times.”

“Beautiful lodge and property. I was looking for something tucked in the mountains that would accomodate my dog. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Mountain cabin was clean and very comfortable. Got some.nreakfsst sandwiches in the morning, amd the biscuits were delicious. There are also miles of hiking trails on and near the property, and a gorgeous river. ”
