“I stayed here with friends for a girls getaway weekend and it was perfect! We enjoyed the front porch and large back yard as well as the fire pit. The house was well stocked and the owners thought of many extra things like white noise machines in the bedrooms because of the creaking floors. The kitchen had a regular coffee pot as well as a Keurig (with K-cups provided). And, in addition to amenities in the bathrooms, they also had many travel size amenities available if you forgot something.……

“The cottage was perfect for our quick getaway. Close to Shenandoah Valley National Park and the caverns. Love the porches and views. The space felt bigger than the photos even show! All the amenities we needed were available and the space was very comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit.”
