“This is our second stay at the Zen Treehouse. I actually don't want to write this review, because I want to book this spot for every time I visit L.A.. AJ has thought of literally everything to make the stay easy and relaxing--- including the kitchen being fully stocked. What else can I say... the furniture is plush, the outdoor spots are bathed in sun, with birds chirping, and beautiful views. She was warm and responsive when I called with questions. Relax and enjoy!”

“The area has no internet or phone reception, making it difficult to check in. I believe the host should have informed us of this in advance. Parking is available on the street across from the house, so be sure to check. The house is beautiful and filled with vintage furniture, but the toilet and kitchen are connected by a sliding door. This detail is not apparent from the photos, so I recommend not inviting anyone other than family. Common items like oil or salt are not provided, and the nearest……

“Kerstan is the BEST host we’ve ever had! We have stayed at many VBRO properties & this was a great find. Super clean, greatly stocked kitchen, TV with streaming of all options one could want. I’m a big walker & neighborhood is very safe with lots of challenging hills. Host was very responsive to all request.”

“This house was filthy & very poorly maintained. Grime on walls, dishes, floors and pool. We paid extra to have pool heated and clean, but when we arrived, it was cold and had days of debris in it. There was food on the deck, around the fire pit and sitting area. The palm tree lighting is hanging at toddler height that could easily become entangled around child’s neck. Zero maintenance on the trees with dead tree palms hanging and falling to the deck. Don’t bring your kids here! No……

“My sister & I stayed in the Airstream while our 3 adult children stayed in the Carriage House. We had one pm that we lost power but Brooke immediately addressed & fixed the issue the next morning. The grounds are beautiful and we took advantage of the pool & hot tub. Highly recommend this property. You will have a great time!”

“The stay was great, the house was good and a great location, however I was disappointed in the quality and cleanliness of the place. At this price level I would have expected and hoped for more. It didn’t spoil our stay, but little things like no smart speakers, poor condition of furnishings, poor internet and very dirty windows could have made our stay much better.”
