“Wonderful, unique hotel great value for money and hosted by two lovely and attentive hosts. Highly recommended on all counts. The cosy bar is an cosy, inviting social gathering centre for nearby residents and guests alike and a place to be social and make new friends.”
“Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. We had breakfast included which was nice and as part of their chain there is a local pub just up the road to have a meal in, should you choose. We had Sunday dinner there was lovely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and helpful, overall 5 stars all day……
“It's an interesting hotel but tired! Must be an ex naval personnel club or hotel I would guess due to the large collection of naval memorabilia. Nice and decorative inside in an old fashioned way. Convenient for the Historic Dockyard which is only about 10 minutes walk away and was the reason for our trip, and Gunwarf Quays. Good cooked breakfast at a reasonable price. Nice and clean and a comfortable bed. Enjoyable stay but wouldn't stay here again.”
“Great base for a holiday on the island, with nice walks to beaches, pubs and local shops near by. The accommodation is well kept and has everything someone self catering would need. The reception staff were great to deal with and really helpful. Very happy with our stay.”
“Just around the corner from National Express Bus terminal. Also Green Mango Hair Salon. Room 5 in the second floor is quiet. Room 3 on the first level not to much. ”
“A good hotel with friendly staff. It could do with net curtains in rooms overlooking the beer garden to help with privacy the only option is to close the black out curtains ”
