“This is a new property in a secluded location in Stonewall just off 290. It’s far enough off the highway that you hear more birds than road noise. It’s close to many of the Stonewall and Hye wineries without the crowds and traffic of Fredericksburg. Nice layout, though small. Beds comfy and decor is cute, especially the cow on the couch. Great porch, too. Oh, and use Google Maps. Waze took us to the Ab Astris winery entrance. Oops!”

“The Riverside Retreat is so comfortable, accommodating, and beautiful. It was completely refurbished inside, and everything was beautiful, easy to use, clean, and comfortable. The screened porch was the best, and we enjoyed quality time sitting by the river (which was running at the time) in a peaceful, refreshing setting. Our only (slight) challenge was finding the location in the dark.”

“Lori was in a wheelchair and owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Beautiful property and our dog loved the property, he actually said that. He’s a very intelligent dog.”

“This property was great - we visited Fredericksburg and climbed Enchanted Rock. We had to pick the key up in town, but the instructions were spot on. The property is isolated but close to town. Plenty of space for the two of us. The decor is very unique and locking the front door is a little tricky. Would definitely stay here again. ”
