“This hotel is beautiful and in the center of Old Town Dubrovnik. Rooms are spotless, spacious, and very modern. We loved the breakfasts in the morning, and received 5-star service from everyone who works there. The manager not only arranged transportation but also walked us and our luggage to the main gate to ensure our driver was there. “The room was SPOTLESS. The bathroom was immaculately clean. AC worked very well, zero complaints. Located in the heart of the Old Town, it was so convenient, and I did not need to climb steps. “Fantastic stay at boutique Hotel Stari Grad. Room was ready when I checked in at 12pm (not expected but a lovely surprise after arriving in Croatia from the US on an overnight flight). Beautiful room overlooking red roofs of old town. Soft robe, very comfortable bed, and the best shower of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. "On the first night of my stay, the showerhead broke halfway through my shower, and the water temperature was hard to control. I ended up finishing the shower in a very awkward and uncomfortable way. Later, when I was about to go to sleep, I found that the air conditioner remote had no batteries, so I had to go the whole night without any air conditioning. When I told the hostess, she assumed I was the one who broke it. Upon checkout, she asked me for €20 for the city tax, even though I had already given it to her husband on the first day. Her response was, “Oh! Maybe I forgot!”"
