“We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views……

“The staff and hotel were lovely and the location was great for what we needed. Although it was very lovely and quiet at night, We did struggle to sleep comfortably as the mattress was quite springy and uncomfortable and the pillows for myself personally were either too soft or hard and big but that is a personal preference and you cannot please everyone. The rooms themselves were both lovely that we had booked. A double and a family room both lovely rooms.We did have a powercut to our room which……

“The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. The rooms have nice versions of all the basics, including a good bed and excellent shower. There are few extra amenities beyond the room and pub, although the breakfast was very good. For a longer stay, the room……

“Only a few minutes walk to the town. The room is spacious and the breakfast is delicious. ”

“Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. The hotel is on a quiet residential street but took me 5mins to walk into the town centre which has loads of bars, shops and restaurants. Worth calling ahead of arrival and they'll reserve you a parking spot (There aren't many spots) Nice bloke on reception showed us our rooms and kindly found me a fan. ”

“Very comfortable room & bed. Superb meals in the elegant Carrier drawing room. Slight downside in that we were kept waiting to sign in. Disappointing that mostly the flowers on display were artificial, despite having a cut-flower garden outside.”

“環境清幽，食物美味，接待人員彬彬有禮，有問必答。可惜房間在地面一層，又面向外街，天氣熱時，由於房內沒有空調，故未能打開窗戶透氣，單靠兩座風扇，有點悶熱。網絡接駁時常中斷。”
