“We had a good stay at the property, staff was very friendly and helpful, bed was huge and very comfortable, comfy pillows too, nice specious room which was tad dated but was clean enough not to spoil our stay. Good pub attached to the hotel, great that it had little play area to keep little ones happy and on the day we arrived there was a bouncy castle which was huge bonus. “Lovely one night stay, hotel is modern clean and has large rooms. The bar area is well laid out. We didn’t eat, but due to its location if you need a meal you will likely end up eating there. Only one bad point is that the pillows were feather and soon went flat, I do wish hotels would have a synthetic standby pillow that does not go flat. Other than that we really enjoyed it.”

“The staff were lovely , very obliging and professional. We had a very nice bedroom very clean, just too many steps for my husband, however the young man on the desk when we arrived carried up our case, which we were very grateful for . “Was good value for money. Conveniently situated for visiting Renishaw Hall wine tasting and gardens . Comfy bed, and not a bad size bathroom. Rain shower but no hairdryer. The food in the restaurant was really good, not that quick to appear but it was worth the wait. We didn’t like being so close to the road though.We couldn’t get the window to close properly so that it made it noisier once the traffic started in the morning.”
